Mark M. Holtzer is a partner concentrating his practice in family law. Mr. Holtzer is well respected for his divorce and custody work and actively practices in the New York courts.
In addition, Mr. Holtzer represents clients in negotiating prenuptial agreements, mid-nuptial agreements and separation agreements. Litigated matters have involved custody, valuation, equitable distribution, support and maintenance. In addition to representing clients, he is a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association’s Family Law Section and the New York County Lawyers Association.
Mr. Holtzer is widely known in the matrimonial parts of the New York courts and has achieved the respects of the jurists before whom he practices. In his field of practice there is simply no substitute for a highly experienced and seasoned matrimonial litigator who regularly appears before the same judges day in and day out.
Mr. Holtzer is a graduate of the University of New York at Oneonta in 1981 and Brooklyn Law School in 1985. He was admitted to practice in the State of New York in 1986 and is a member of the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Recognizing his outstanding achievement in the field of family law, Mr. Holtzer has been honored as a 2010 and 2011 Super Lawyer in the New York metro area.
